Since I had a wonderful young lady comment so nicely about a very old pic of our little girl, I thought maybe I would update this blog again. :)


I got a new camera, just for a squirmy toddler, who can't sit still in pics, and though it's not the super duper fancy SLR I want, it is an upgrade from my little Nixon that only had 4 mega pixels. I love my new one because I can do multiple shots at once, which certainly comes in handy for a toddler who is always moving! :)


I also love editing the photos in Elements, and though I am by no means fabulous at it, boy do I love creating digitally. So enjoy the photos...




My last one here we did right before our return to school. I know for some a timer on a camera seems like old hat, but my new one allows me to again take multiple photos in a row, allowing me to get that just right shot. The tripod and good light didn't hurt either. :)

Swim Lessons

sarah has been in swim lessons for 2 weeks , and began her second session today. We are working floating on our back and blowing bubbles not licking the water. :) She has picked up jumping in, and climbing out of the water, kicking when asked and just enjoying herself. She jumps, literally, out of her bed on swim days and squeals when we get in, though I think it's because it's so cold!

Right Now

This blog was a fabulous idea, but last year was not the year to plan to keep up with it. Work and work kept me far away from the things I love and the life I want to live. So here I am rethinking it all, and redefining the priorities that I think are important, and putting them at the front of the life I love.

I plan to update more regularly here. I don't know who will be reading, and if nothing else it can be for just myself, and me. But I would like to have a record of our everyday happenings so that I can show life as it is for my daughter and her future siblings.
